Totonaca

The singular totonaca room exhibits figures and archaeological representations of this important pre-Hispanic culture, whose development was established mainly in Puebla and Veracruz. The guest can admire in the niches figures and heads with smiling faces, typical of the classic period of the central region of Veracruz. On its walls you can admire photographs of the mystical archeological sites of El Tajín, Cempoala and Yohualichán, highlighting the niches in its pyramidal structures and the perfectly symmetrical outline of its roads and constructions.

The decoration of this room is complemented by beautiful textiles from the Sierra Norte region of Puebla. The guest can also enjoy a balcony that connects it with the daily life of this Magical Town and a spectacular view of the Great Pyramid crowned with the Sanctuary of the Virgen de Los Remedios, the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes and the Zapoteco hill.
